Luigi Seri was born among splicing, cleats and beams. As a child, he takes his first steps into the boatyard, a place that is home and playground for him where he follows his father master shipwright in all his activities. He grows up working in the construction and launching of boats and at 19 years old he founds his own shipyard and become soon one of Italian youngest master shipwright.
He specializes in all phases of boat building, from design to wood, fiberglass, aluminum, steel, carbon and composite materials boat building. His leading International sailing activity is for him an instrument of direct knowledge of the mechanisms related to fluid-dynamic hull and sail plan, whose principles are applied in the set up of Olympic sailing dinghies and one-designs that require extraordinary performances.
